At the junction, we will stop by for a short rest before we turn into National Road 32 leading to renowned Lung Lo pass. With a total length of 15 kilometers, the pass was an important road for the Vietnamese people to secretly transport goods, food, and weapons during the historical Dien Bien Phu campaign in 1954.

The pass endured severe bombs by the strong French force with serious damages. Then, the Lung Lo pass was officially recognized as a national heritage by the Vietnamese ministry.
