Saigon BMW Motorcycle Tour to Cambodia Via Silhanouk Beach and Phu Quoc Island

From Saigon’s BM Travel Office, the team moves to Cu Chi tunnels and spends 1 hour exploring these relic sites. Crawling underground, through tunnels, you will know how Viet Cong lived in Vietnam War. Then Tay Ninh is for lunch famous for BBQ veal.

After procedures at the Xa Mat border gate, Kampong Cham, a city on the Mekong River, we stay the first night.

Kampong Cham will show you how Cambodian live on the bank of the Mekong River. This day we ride along that River to Mondulkiri Plateau. Senmonorom is the capital of Mondulkiri Province, often compared to frontier towns in old Western America. Bunong is the largest indigenous highland ethnic group in Cambodia. Their culture is unique, and in recent years, traditional beliefs have been blended with Khmer Buddhism, making it so mysterious to anyone who comes here.

On the third day, we move up to northern Cambodia, a significant challenge to the team. When riding along Vietnam Border, and Laos Border on the same day we will have a great experience. Krong Preah Vihear is a neighbor of Thailand and has many mystery stories about the Khmer Kingdom.

On the fourth day, we ride up to the Cam – Thai Borders and find the name Preah Vihear where it comes from. And the World Heritage Site in Dângrêk Mountains will answer for us. Riding along the Thai border and many sanctuaries will make this journey become a real wilderness adventure.

After breakfast, the group will visit the Angkor Thom Complex, which includes a four-sided statue with a Bayon smile and other exquisite Angkor architectural art. Before visiting the historic Takeo and Banteakdei Temples, including Ta Prohm Temple, stop by Elephant Terrance, which hosts traditional Khmer festivals. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat Temple, one of the world’s wonders and Cambodia’s most revered temple. Then, from Bakheng Hill’s summit, take in the sunset with a spectacular panoramic view of the Angkor Complex set against vast primeval forests.

On this day team will ride to the West of Cambodia, Krong Poi Pet. On the way, with Sisophon, a transport hub in the middle of nowhere, with quirky attractions. This town contributes to Poipet’s squalid village known for its infamous border crossing with many Casinos here.

Krong Battambang is our destination today. This modern city still has many ancient temples from the eleventh century that make Battampang unique color.

From Battambang, we ride to the capital of Cambodia. The team will ride along Tonle Sap and visit Kampong Luong Floating Village, a typical living way on this lake. You will be surprised by its modernity when heading to Phnom Penh, a hub of the Khmer Empire and French colonialists. And this city is also the most affected by Buddhism.

It’s beach time. The team moves the Sihanouk on this day. As a tropical seaside, Sihanoukville’s nightlife is so bustling. The Cuisine is also unique when Chinese- Khmer living here makes it the best thing you ever try.

The team will say goodbye to Sihanouk early in the morning to ride back to Vietnam via Ha Tien Border Gate. We have lunch at Ha Tien province and get on a speedboat around 1 pm to visit Phu Quoc Island. In the afternoon,  that time is to explore this beautiful island.

We have a half-day relaxing on the beach and lunch on Phu Quoc Island before returning to Ha Tien by Speedboat at 1 pm. The team rode to Chau Doc, the Land of Seven Mountains in the Mekong Delta.

We will visit Ba Chuc Crypt to learn more about Khmer Rough Crime. And seeing the floating villages, enjoying the dawn on a small boat, is to the end of this day.

We will visit Tra Su Cajuput Forest before riding to the capital of the Mekong Delta. Tra Su is an excellent spot to learn about the Mekong Delta’s typical ecosystem. The woodland takes on the inviting appearance of a green carpet of duckweed spanning a vast region during flood season.
