Departing from Cao Bang, you experience some beautiful spots before stopping at Ban Gioc waterfall, which is surrounded by majestic nature and stands out due to the fast-flowing stream spreading over an area of nearly 100 meters. The beauty of Ban Gioc waterfall differs from season to season. The best time to visit the waterfall is August and September, when Ban Gioc has plenty of green watercolors. If you want to watch ripe rice, tree marigold, and buckwheat, it is advisable to come here in October, November, and December.
On the way to Ban Gioc, you move through the magnificent pass of Ma Phuc, which has a narrow mountain gorge on one side and a towering cliff on the other. Therefore, it is a big challenge to conquer this pass. Next, you pay a visit to Nguom Ngao cave, which features a wide range of stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes, before getting to Ban Gioc waterfall. After finishing the discovery of Ban Gioc waterfall, you spend one-hour riding back to Quang Hoa village, Quang Uyen, where you will live with a local family who will invite you to an intimate meal with lots of tasty dishes.
