As a hidden gem of the country and a land rich in flora and fauna, Pu Luong is such a great place for nature lovers with the bestowal of the untouched beauty of the rainforest, limestone panoramas, eye-pleasing views of rice terraces, and majestic sceneries.

Feed yourself with a tasty morning meal before a climb up to a forested region. Mosey along for sightseeing then drop down to a mountainous tea-growing region. Have lunch before making it to the marvelous valley floor sank in the sea of rice fields. It surrounds are the sleepy villages of Black Thai. Our final destination is Moc Chau – the biggest and dreamiest plateau of the mountainous region in North Vietnam with multi-colored flowers, majestic waterfalls, caves, and green tea hills. However, it is best known for many visions of huge gardens of apricot and plum trees alongside a wide range of flowers, vast emerald grass fields, tremendous tea plantations, and long herds of milk cows. Check-in at a hotel in Moc Chau and get ready for another 180km drive the next day.

We start the morning with a motorbike ride & 4×4 car through the winding mountain passes that pass through rustic villages of the Thai, Tay, and Muong ethnic people who plant corn, sugarcane, and green tea in the terraced fields. After having a light and joyful motorbike ride, we eat lunch and follow the smooth road to Son La province. We recommend bikers stop at some colorful local markets to experience and learn about the local tradition and culture.

We arrive at the city at 4 pm, have a quick rest, and take a short walk to the hell-on-earth Son La former prison where famous Vietnamese political prisoners were captured during French colonialism. A trip to the prison gives visitors an insight into the Vietnam war against French colonialism.

Say goodbye to Son La; we will get on a medium track. Ride along the Pha Din Pass; you will see more of the serenity of indigenous villages and the simple life of rustic ethnic people. The village we pop in today is Tham Village – one of the most splendid villages in the district. To get there, we have to ride through a dark tunnel of 2 km in length, which will give you one of the greatest parts full of emotion in this off-road Vietnam Dirt Bike Tour.

Drop in the historical remnants of the French battlefield during the Indochina War – Dien Bien Province. We will come to Tham Pua Cave at the foot of Pu Hong Cay Limestone. The cave (about 100m high) is a historical and cultural relic with immense value in Dien Bien Province. People have explored various vestiges believed to be ancient Vietnamese relics.

The next spot is 100m away from Nam Hua Stream – Tham Temple. Covered by the bushes, it’s hard for tourists to find the place without a tour guide. Get back your energy for the next day with a tight sleep in Dien Bien Phu.

We start the Sapa motorbike & 4×4 tour at around 7:00 am to ensure the morning mist disappears, and the sky is clearer. On this sixth day of our 7-day motorbike tour, we experience the second pass in the top four of Vietnam – the O Quy Ho pass. We drive from Lai Chau to Sapa and arrive at the destination at lunchtime. In the afternoon, we can either walk around Sapa or take a short motorcycle tour around the beautiful Muong Hoa valley to capture the picture-postcard rice terraced fields or visit more villages of the Dao and H’Mong ethnic people. Accommodation in Sapa is easy to find; tourists can choose to stay at a hotel in town or book a homestay with local ethnic people in Ta Van village.

From Sapa, our crew plans to reach Vu Linh with a total riding distance of about 180 km. Before that, we will get ourselves prepared and energetic enough with a fine breakfast in Ha Giang.

On the way to Vu Linh, our team will pass a lake named Thac Ba. From there, we follow a small road that has two sides of palm trees, together with great mountains. Ride for more few kilometers; the road becomes better and larger with beautiful views.

That is when we get closer to Vu Linh. After approximately 6 hours of sitting on your motorbikes, our tour team arrives in Vu Linh and spends the 6th night here when you are welcome in the hospitality of the local host.

On the last day to return to our city, there are several ways of returning. However, it seems that they are busy and crowded.
