5-day itinerary to travel Vietnam by motorbike  

Day 1: Motorbike tour from Saigon – Dong Xoai (110km) 

The journey to conquer Dong Xoai by motorbike from Saigon promises unforgettable experiences. Covering a distance of 110km, you can choose to travel via National Highway 1A or the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay expressway.

Along the way, you’ll admire diverse natural landscapes, from the bustling streets of Saigon to lush green fields and vast rubber plantations.

Your first destination is the Cu Chi Tunnels, a symbolic testament to the glorious history of the Vietnamese people. Spending two hours there will deepen your understanding of the heroic and indomitable past struggles of the Vietnamese nation, offering unforgettable experiences.

After a well-prepared lunch, travelers will continue their journey of exploration through Vietnam by motorbike, navigating along national highways, passing through expansive rubber plantations.

By evening, you’ll rest in Dong Xoai, indulging in local specialties and relaxing to prepare for the adventures of the next day.

Day 2: Dong Xoai – Dak Mil (Central Highlands) 195km long 

On Monday, you will depart early from Dong Xoai, passing through Highway 14 to reach Buon Ma Thuot. Along the way, take time to visit rural villages, historical landmarks, and indulge in local cuisine.

The first stop of the day is a visit to the War Memorial, a solemn reminder of Vietnam’s tumultuous history. Additionally, we will explore a cashew nut processing plant and savor local specialties.

The highlight of the second day is the exploration and admiration of the scenery along the Cambodia border. Simultaneously, there will be cultural and historical exchanges with local residents. As night falls, travelers will arrive in Dak Mil.

Day 3: Ride a motorbike from Dak Mil to Ho Lak (107km) 

After a night’s rest in Dak Mil, the entire group began to move towards Ho Lak. The journey from Dak Mil to Lake Lak is over 107km long, not excessively lengthy but holding many intriguing elements for speed enthusiasts. Starting from Dak Mil, you’ll meander along winding roads through lush rubber and coffee plantations. This place is likened to the paradise of the Central Highlands with its pristine and majestic scenery.

On the way, don’t forget to visit Yok Don National Park, which boasts a diverse ecosystem with many rare species of animals. Engage in activities such as trekking, mountain biking, or simply immersing yourself in the wilderness.

The next destination is the Dak Mil Ecotourism Area, where you can enjoy joyful moments with family and friends through exciting activities like elephant riding, horseback riding, zoo visits, and more.

Finally, you’ll set foot in Lake Lak – the “emerald jewel” amidst the forests of the Central Highlands. This place is renowned for its romantic beauty of freshwater lakes alongside unique ethnic minority villages. Experience traditional wooden boat rides on the lake, fishing, or simply stroll along the lake shore to fully embrace the tranquility and serenity of this place.

Day 4: Travel from Lak Lake – Da Lat (160km) 

Goodbye Lak Lake, on the fourth day, travelers will move up to Dalat. This 160km journey promises to bring exciting experiences. Starting from Lak Lake, you will admire the pristine beauty of the Lak Nature Reserve, visit the majestic Dray Nur waterfall, and enjoy the unique cuisine of Buon Ma Thuot.

Continuing the journey, you will pass through the winding mountain passes of Gia Lai and Kon Tum to reach the romantic Dalat. Along the way, you can stop at Kon Plong Village to learn about the unique culture of ethnic minorities, or enjoy delicious coffee in Pleiku.

Day 5: Motorcycle tour Da Lat – Nha Trang (150km)

On the last day of the Vietnam Motorcycle Travel adventure, we will depart from Da Lat and head to Nha Trang. The journey spans over 150km, taking you from the lush mountain forests to the azure beaches. Starting from Da Lat in the early morning, you will be greeted by fresh and cool air. The first stretch of road you’ll conquer is Khanh Le Pass, known as the longest pass in Vietnam. The winding curves along with the majestic scenery of the mountains will leave you in awe.

Next, you’ll pass through the picturesque Da Nhim Lake with its pristine natural scenery. This is an ideal stop for you to rest and take photos. After leaving Da Nhim Lake, you’ll continue to Bidoup Nui Ba National Park, where you can explore the diverse and rich ecosystem.

Finally, you’ll arrive in Nha Trang, a beautiful coastal city with smooth white sandy beaches and azure blue waters. Here, you can indulge in beach bathing, participate in entertaining activities, and savor delicious fresh seafood after a long journey.
