Rock Energy Drink is not a strange name in the world of motorcycles. Despite not manufacturing cars, motorbikes, or accessories, this company is well-known for focusing on promoting your brand based on powerful motorbikes or world-class motor or car racing tournaments.
Husqvarna motorcycles from Sweden is one of the motor brands that Rock Energy Drink chooses to use for this purpose. The racing team from Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory, with the participation of the two excellent racers named Jason Anderson và Zach Osborne, used Husqvarna FC 450 Rockstar in the 2019 AMA Supercross Championship. This type of motorcycle is considered the best quality in the off-road motorcycle market today.
If you are an off-road motorcycle enthusiast, we bet you will feel excited to watch the riders’ performance from Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory at the AMA Supercross. But it is a surprise to know that you have plenty of opportunities to become the owner of a similar motorbike.
The new model of Husqvarna FC 450 Rockstar Edition, which is manufactured in modest quantities, has been newly launched with a similar design to racing models. So now, please have a look at these similarities.
Engine
During the FC 450 Rockstar Edition manufacturing process, Husqvarna applied the latest chassis and engine technologies to ensure that these super-powerful motorcycles can perform incredibly throughout professional tournaments.
This perfect model is produced based on the engine of the FC 450, which helped the Rockstar Husqvarna team win the AMA competition during the previous seasons.
That being said, the FC 450 Rockstar Edition greatly improves the connecting rods manufactured by Pankl Racing Systems, and the CP forged pistons with high durability. Lower friction and new connecting rods and pistons contribute to bringing more strength to the engine.
Husqvarna has not published the specifications of the engine. But the maximum output of FC 450 Rockstar Edition is likely around 63 horsepower because it has many similarities with FC 450 and supermoto FS 450.
Other pieces of equipment
The exhaust gas of the single-cylinder machine is led through the FMF Racing Factory 4.1 RCT Full Exhaust System. With titanium exhausts, carbon fiber tails, and shorter pipes, this new exhaust system helps to minimize the risk of being damaged and optimize the weight distribution ratio of the FC 450 Rockstar Edition.
Apart from the engine, this motorbike version is equipped with CNC aluminum triple clamps that can adjust the distance between the horizontal centerline of both fork tubes and the center of the steering axis. Particularly, it can range from 20 to 22mm. Only with such a small change can the FC 450 Rockstar Edition provide optimal operating characteristics that suit each race condition.
All other motorbike accessories must be branded products to ensure victory in the competition. For example, WP suspension, DID DirtStar rims, and Brembo front and rear brakes are all of the top quality.
From January 2019, you can buy FC 450 Rockstar Edition motorcycles from Husqvarna dealers. Up to this time, their prices have not been announced.
