TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
Today we start from Ho Chi Minh City with the heavy traffic, then drive to Tri An lake, a man-made lake possessing natural beauty with a stunning view of the sun, sky and cool breeze. We can stop here for a while to enjoy the lake view. This is a quick break from the city life for Ho Chi Minh City residents as it is only 60 km away. We then ride to Nam Cat Tien National Park, some 150 km from Ho Chi Minh City. In some parts of the route, we ride on the dirt road. Our team then get on a boat to reach the opposite side of Dong Nai River. After that, we drive around Tri An lake which is an isolated destination, little-known by tourists. We continue our pleasant southern Vietnam motorbike trip with our ride on small roads before getting on another boat that takes us to Nam Cat Tien Park. This is one of our highlights on our trip and we stop at a few spots to take beautiful pictures.
In the late afternoon, we enter another route that takes you to the wilderness of nature. Here we can trek through dense jungles of trees to reach Crocodile Lake. It’s a quite easy trek that is manageable to inexperienced trekkers. The experience we get here is worthwhile for our efforts. Dawn and sunset are the peaceful moments of nature at the lake. It is also interesting to see crocodiles emerge out of the serene and calm water or relax on the bank of the river. The best time to visit the park is from December to May. During this time, low rainfall and dry path make it easy and comfortable for us to explore the wonder of the park. This is truly a heaven for nature lovers and those who love outdoors activities. It would be hard to get bored in this national park with a diverse range of activities on offer for tourists.

In the early morning and at nightfall, there are birds chirping their beautiful melodies, which help us to forget the bustling city life. The breeze gently touching our face, the greenish landscape of the park is such a rewarding experience for those who are looking for a city escape trip. Remember to bring your camera to capture the exciting moments of nature and animals here.
We then head to Da Teh, a town famous for tea and espresso ranches, and pass by beautiful mountains passes. Da Teh district is known as the land of wildness so enjoy the waterfall, the serenity, and isolation here. We will stop anywhere you wish to take pictures. In the late evening, we check-in at the guest house in an area close to Ta Dung Lake. We have supper with chicken or grilled fish caught from the lake. On the fifth day, we explore Nha Trang by ourselves. This city has many things on offer – from the beautiful beaches, pristine offshore islands, exciting diving sites, historical sites to busy city life. You will have a stunning and soaring experience while taking a cable car ride over the Hon Tre Island and the nature reserves of Hon Mun and Tam Island. A stupendous aerial view of the beach, islands, and wilderness. Nha Trang is a perfect destination to stop off after we ride around the south on two wheels for some days. The sixth day features the ride from Nha Trang to Phan Rang Thap Cham. Those who ride from the north to the south will find it interesting to see the big change in the vegetation when they get to the joint capital of Ninh Thuan Province. The lush green rice fields are alternated with sandy soil with only scrubby plants.
Unlike the postcard-pretty Nha Trang beaches, Phan Rang Thap Cham gives tourists a sense of serenity and wilderness. If you love explorations by motorbike and enjoy being on your own in not touristy beaches, then Phan Rang Thap Cham is the place to go. You can also take a short motorbike ride around Cam Ranh Bay or drive around Nui Chua national park, a remarkable biological system that lies along the astonishing seaside street.

After having a hearty breakfast in Ninh Thuan, we ride to Po Klong Garai, a Cham religious complex situated in the medieval Champa territory of Panduranga (now Phan Rang, Ninh Thuan). It was built to honor the legendary king Po Klaung Garai who ruled Panduranga in the 12th and 13th centuries. After visiting Po long Garai, we hit the road again and then have lunch in the Ca Na area.
We then head to one of the highlights of the area – Mui Ne which is famous for its sand dunes, a place that no visitor should miss in their travel itinerary. Flying kite, riding sleds or watching the sunset are must-do things here. In the late afternoon, we can visit the spectacular Ke Ga lighthouse which dated back to the French era. This structure was built in the 19th century on a rocky islet some 300m from the shore, towering some 40m above the sea. To get across, we rent a boat operator. Watching the sunset or sunrise with the stunning view here is such a memorable experience.
