7 DAY SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH

Upon arrival will meet our guide and driver with the firmest welcome at the airport then transfer to the hotel for checking and then transfer to see sunset at Bakheng Mountain for a little hike to the top to visit the Bakheng Temple with sunset then return to the hotel.

In the evening have dinner at Neary Khmer restaurant.

After breakfast, start transfer to Angkor Wat temple then visit Angkor Thom and Bayon Temple. The Bayon is located in the center of the city of Angkor Thom 1500 meters (4921 feet) from the south gate. Enter tower of the Bayon is from the east. PrasatBayon was builtin late 12th century to early 13th century, by the King Jayavarman VII, dedicated to Buddhist. Then continue to the Ta Prum Temple was built about mid-12th century to early 13th century (1186) by the King Jayavarman VII, dedicated to the mother of the king (Buddhist) replica to Bayon style of art then ride to the hotel for check in. This evening is free at leisure.

According to historians, the site used to be a hiding place of King Jayavarman VII before he ascended to the throne in AD 1181 because the style of some construction is similar to the style of Bayon and Ta Prohm temples then continue to the man temple of Preah Khan then continue to home stay for overnight.

Today is a challenging day. You’ll be riding through the muddy roads and jungle visit a temple called Sambo Preykuk which was built in 07th century by the King Isanavarman I. The temples of Sambo Preykuk constructed of solid brick, laterite and sandstone and decorated by bas-reliefs. The lintel, pillars and the doorframes are all made of sandstone. So far, 140 temples have been discovered in the forest. Then we continue ride to the oldest bridge called “Naga bride” which was built in the 12 century and you’ll keep riding to Kampong Thom Province.

After breakfast we continue riding along the banks of the Mekong River passing the local market, villages with tobacco plantations, then enjoy the packed lunch near the riverbank. We continue to koh Dach and hotel to relax and In the evening at 6.50 we meet up and walk for dinner at FCC restaurant.

Today, we visit the Toul Sleng Museum, the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda and Wat Phnom, which is the symbol of the capital city. If time permits, you will enjoy having a minivan transfer to explore the charming city along the Mekong Riverfront and passing many old constructions was built in French Style.
