There’s only 40 km between us and Sa Pa at this point, but it’s 40 km rollercoaster ride of twists and turns and uphill climbs. It is also a 40 km joyride with vibrant rice field terraces and valleys on one side, and rocky sun-kissed mountains on the other. We’ll take our time on the road, enjoy the scenery, take photos, and visit Lao Chai Ta Van Valley – one of the most beautiful valleys in northern Vietnam.

And every once in a while, when the clouds fall asleep and the sun comes out to play, you can see Fansipan peak – the highest peak in Indochina, as well as the paramount Hoang Lien Son range.
We’ll stay the night in Mu Cang Chai.

You would’ve seen the genuity and friendliness of Vietnam ethnic people going about their daily life. And hopefully, you would’ve fallen in love with Vietnam the very same way we did: authentic, raw, and completely natural.
